Our candidates will be informed about suitable opportunities within single strategy hedge funds, funds of hedge funds and advisory firms not only in the UK but also in all of the other major AI financial centres of the World including New York, Zurich, Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore and Paris. The Team
Mike Doherty - Senior Manager
Mike has been with The Emerald Group since 1998 and has worked across the Pensions, Asset Management and more recently the alternative investment division during his time with the firm. Since joining, Mike has contributed significantly to the growth of the business in new areas and currently focuses on alternative investment opportunities particularly within the areas of Hedge Fund Manager Research, Operational Due Diligence, Operations and Sales & Marketing. The opportunities Mike covers are both UK and international with many roles located in the US, Switzerland & Asia. Mike has a Batchelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from the University of Sheffield.
Joanna Aymes - Senior Consultant
Joanna started working for The Emerald Group in September 2000, where she recruited for the Pensions Industry. More recently Joanna has joined the Investment division within The Emerald Group and recruits within the Alternative Investment market. Areas of specialty include, Research, Operations, Due Diligence, Sales and Marketing. Joanna attended Sparsholt College in Hampshire and completed a Business and Finance Diploma
Rick Robinson - Consultant
Rick focuses on front office research hires within the alternative investments industry. Typical searches undertaken at this level include CEO, CIO, Portfolio Management and other main board positions. He has successfully completed mandates in the last year in London, Geneva & Hong Kong. Rick has been with The Emerald Group since September 2006 and has a degree in Politics from the University of Bristol.
Sue Anne Vannini - Consultant
Sue-Anne has recently joined the Emerald Group after taking time off from recruitment to raise a family. She works within a team of 4 who focus exclusively within the Alternative Investment markets. Prior to that Sue-Anne worked as a head hunter for Jupitec specialising in IT contract recruitment within the investment banking sector. She has gained extensive recruitment experience from being in the industry for 14 yrs.
